On October 17th, 2020, I hosted a Zoom Party with my childhood chum Nick, to celebrate the contributions of our friends and family, all of whom made substantial donations to helping Democrats win the 2020 US Election at all levels of government, in a last-ditch effort to save the world world from certain destruction at the hands of Donald Trump and his lackeys in the Republican Party.
The party was a success! Fun was had!
If you’d like to see the fun for yourself, I’ve provided three versions of the recording.
The first, clocking in at 23 minutes, represent the highlights, with crib notes below so you can jump to the best parts if your attention span or free time is highly limited. Jump to 15:30 to see how much we raised!
The second, clocking in at 66 minutes, gives you a bit more of the witty repartee and zany antics. The third and final version is the whole god-damn thing, raw, uncut, unfiltered, and unedited, for those of you who are starved for social contact and desperate to watch anything for hours on end. It is 2 hours and 47 minutes long and includes never-before-seen behind-the-scenes footage of Nick and Jamie staring expressionless, into their monitors, plus the Whale Joke in its entirety PLUS the Whale Joke Reprise, also in it’s entirety.
These videos are not meant for public sharing, they’re only for friends and family of Nick and Jamie. We’ll probably take them down in a week or two, so if you have any interest in watching them now is the time.
